Call for Book Reviews and Historiographies

DailyHistory.org is looking to publish book reviews and historiographies from graduate students in History, Political Science and the Humanities. We are building a comprehensive source for book reviews and historiographies for undergraduate and graduate students studying these subjects.

We seek submissions between 800-1500 words but will consider longer submissions.

All submissions must be original and unpublished. Please attach a CV/resume and a proposed submission idea to [email protected].

All submissions will be published under your byline and you will have an option to create a bio page on the site. We would recommend utilizing the H-Net guidelines for the report. You can find those here: https://networks.h-net.org/node/112408/pages/1072749/review-guidelines

A Little about DailyHistory.org

DailyHistory.org was created in 2016. A majority of our articles answer historical questions, but we also publish author interviews, book lists, historiographies and book reviews. We are looking to dramatically expand the number of book reviews and historiographies that we publish.

Over the past 2 ½ years our audience has exploded. In our 1st year, we had only 75,000 pageviews, but that has grown to 2 million page views over the past 12 months. We look forward to seeing your submissions.
